Last year, she told Fashion Magazine, “I’ve definitely taken my curls for granted. Society has looked down upon big hair. Often, women have been made to feel like curly hair can’t be professional or ‘appropriate.’ So, we’ve felt obligated to straighten it. Thankfully, now, we are appreciating our big, fluffy curls, and we still have the option to straighten it if we want to and just have fun with it.”
