It’s officially Australian music’s night of nights, and there’s stiff competition among the nominees.
Some of the biggest nominations include Ghanaian-Australia singer Genesis Owusu, who leads the charge with a whopping seven nominations, as well as G Flip, Troy Sivan and Dom Dolla – all of whom have achieved six nominations a piece.
Five nominations have been handed down to Indigenous singer-songwriter Budjerah and Sydney-based rock band DMA’s.

Aussie pop princess Kylie Minogue is also being recognised at the 2023 ARIAs with an impressive four nominations, alongside King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard and the Teskey Brothers.
Minogue is up for the Best Independent Release, Best Pop Release, Best Solo Artist and Song of the Year following the release of her 16th studio album, Tension.
The last time Minogue won an ARIA Award before tonight was in 2002. She was last nominated in 2021.
