It’s the once in a lifetime tour that’s postponed travel plans, ended friendships, and even changed wedding dates.
For many diehard fans, the chance to see Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is unmissable – especially if you were lucky enough to survive the great Ticketek war.
This is the case for one bridesmaid who is ditching her best friend’s wedding just three weeks before the ceremony in favour of seeing the singer.

On The Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick show this morning, the hosts asked listeners to share what the Eras Tour has ruined for them, prompting a call from distressed bridesmaid Olivia.
Longtime fan Olivia revealed she bought tickets to Swift’s Saturday Melbourne show, which happens to be the same night as her best friend Jessie’ wedding.
“I know how annoyed she’s gonna be,” Olivia told the hosts revealing her friend had been complaining for weeks about “how Taylor’s ruining her wedding.”
Fifi, Fev & Nick brought bride Jessie on the radio so her bridesmaid could deliver the devastating news live on air.

After acknowledging how upset her friend was over Swift’s concert coinciding with her wedding, Olivia broke the news that she too would be missing on the big day.

“I haven’t told you that I got tickets for the Saturday and this was done before Christmas,” a nervous Olivia told her friend, defending that while she felt bad she had “loved Taylor for so long.”
But the news didn’t go over well with the bride who asked: “Is this a prank?”
“Are you joking?” a less-than-impressed Jessie asked her bridesmaid as things became increasingly awkward on air.
“You’ve known this since before December and it’s three weeks until my wedding and you’re telling me now?”
After Olivia suggested she comes back for the reception after the three-hour concert, her friend questioned how that was “even possible”.
“I’m getting married in the Yarra Valley. How are you going to come to my wedding and then go to Taylor Swift and come back?” Jessie asked, getting increasingly upset while the hosts listened on in horror at the impending train wreck.

“You know how much this has been annoying me that people have been dropping out to go to her and you’ve known all along that you’re gonna go to her concert?”
After host Fifi interrupted the heated discussion, Olivia began to cry as she confessed how “anxious” she’s been over breaking the news.
“I’ve been there through every step of the way and when we were trying on the bridesmaid dresses, I was going to tell you,” she admitted to Jessie, explaining that she just got “nervous”.
“I want you there next to me on my day and you’re not gonna be there,” the upset bride told her friend.
The hosts quickly put an end to the conversation, aptly joking about playing Swift’s hit track Cruel Summer next while brainstorming about how to fix the situation.
A helicopter was even suggested as a mode of transport before the show took to commercial break.
