Margot Robbie is waking up to another morning of nominations for her movie Barbie.
Fresh from the film’s Golden Globe Awards nominations domination, Barbie has scored an all-time record 18 Critics Choice Awards nominations, including one each for Robbie as both star and producer.
The Greta Gerwig-directed box office smash is up for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress (Robbie), Best Supporting Actor (Ryan Gosling), Best Supporting Actress (America Ferrera), Best Original Screenplay, Best Comedy and others.

There are also three nods in the Best Original Song category, for Dua Lipa‘s smash hit Dance the Night, the Gosling-performed I’m Just Ken and the Billie Eilish track What Was I Made For?
In the award show’s 29-year history, no other movie has scored more nominations. The Shape of Water and Everything Everywhere All At Once previously topped the list, having both scored 14 nominations in their respective years.

Barbie‘s biggest box office competitor, Oppenheimer, scored 13 nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director and acting nods for the all-star cast, including Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr. and Emily Blunt.
Christopher Nolan‘s epic blockbuster tied with Yorgos Lanthimos’ Poor Things, which also scored Best Picture, Best Director nods, as well as acting nominations for their lead stars Emma Stone and Mark Ruffalo.
Bradley Cooper was the other big winner in the nominations list – his new movie, Maestro, scoring him both a Best Director and Best Actor nod, as well as being up for Best Picture.
Martin Scorsese‘s almost four-hour epic Killers of the Flower Moon picked up 11 nominations – including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor (Leonardo DiCaprio), Best Supporting Actor (Robert DeNiro) and Best Actress (Lily Gladstone).
The TV categories were announced last week with Australians Sarah Snook and Elizabeth Debicki up for awards.
Snook will vye for Best Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Shiv Roy in the final season of Succession.
Debicki is up for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Princess Diana in The Crown.
Comedian Chelsea Handler will be hosting the awards show, which will take place in LA on Sunday, January 14 (Monday January 15 AEDT).
