The ‘great war’ over Taylor Swift tickets may be well and truly over, but there’s another musician causing a frenzy among Aussie fans as you read this.
This morning, British DJ Fred Again announced – out of nowhere – that he will be performing a surprise live show at Sydney’s Opera House tonight.
Cue: Absolute chaos.

The producer dropped the news oh-so-casually on Instagram Stories, sharing a video of him during the Sydney Harbour Bridge climb.
“Australiaaaaaaa!!!!! We here! Sydney opera house tonight!” he wrote.
”THis show genuinely is super last minute.. so we’re super gassed to be able to do it at all!

“We’re doing a REAL stripped version of the show cos we’ve only got 2 hours to build it! No lights, one small screen, me, tony, and maybe the most beautiful venue in the world.”
Thousands of fans rushed to buy a ticket online, in scenes reminiscent of Swift’s Eras Tour ticket drop last June.
One reported on Twitter/X that within 10 minutes of Fred Again’s announcement, there was “already almost 30,000 people waiting for tickets”.
