I'm Planning My Fashion-Month Looks—Here's Everything I Want to Wear

Fashion month is upon us yet again as we await the fall/winter 2024 season to kick off next month. Though I always aim to stick to my personal style when planning out my looks, fashion month is also an excuse to add new-season items to my wardrobe and invest in pieces I’ve been thinking about buying since I first saw them on the runways. It’s also an opportunity to test-drive the fresh silhouettes and trends that I have had my eye on.

Spring arrivals are already starting to trickle in, and I’ve made a short list of the items I’m eyeing for my fashion-month wardrobe. Among the fresh-in finds I’m considering are suiting with fitted proportions, pointed ballerina flats, dresses and skirts finished with layers of sheer organza, and A-line circle skirts—plus plenty of reasonless staples that I imagine wearing this spring and years ahead. I found each of the items at Saks to make it easy to add all of the items to one shopping cart.

Fitted blazers are making a big comeback, and I want to integrate them into my fashion-month wardrobe.

I’m planning to pair the Loulou Studio blazer above with the matching pants.

Sleek, pointed ballerina flats are the moment.

The Toteme bag I’ve been thinking about since it launched.

The perfect shape to pair with everything from skirts to jeans.

My wardrobe isn’t very trendy, but there’s one trend I’m excited to try—sheer skirts.

To pair with jeans.

White jeans are starting to pop up everywhere, and I want a pair in my fashion-month wardrobe.

Finished with mesh.

To add to a casual look.

Yet another way I’m thinking about integrating sheer elements into my wardrobe.

A layering staple for cold weather.

To pair with a watch for a wrist stack.

I still can’t stop thinking about the Bottega Veneta Andiamo bag.

New in from the S/S 24 Prada runway!

This bag from The Row is so timeless.

This tee also achieves a cool sheer effect.

Just gorgeous.

Who What Wear editors can’t stop talking about these Ferragamo heels.

A chic way to bundle up.

I expect to see a lot of A-line skirts on the street style scene next month.

Another cool take on pointed shoes.

A staple.

To wear with a button-down shirt to replicate a classic Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy look.

Flats are an essential for fashion month since there is always a lot of walking involved from show to show.

Gorgeous.

A great jacket makes a winter look.

The Khaite jeans I keep hearing incredible things about.

To pair with denim.
