After years in development hell due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the world is finally able to see Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks’ latest offering, Masters of the Air.
Based on the book by Donald L. Miller, Masters of the Air: America’s Bomber Boys Who Fought the Air War Against Nazi Germany, the series follows the story of the 100th Bomb Group of the United States Army Air Forces during World War II, who were nicknamed the “Bloody Hundredth” because of the losses they experienced during combat.
Filming began in 2021 but the premiere occurred just yesterday, with the ensemble cast taking a huge group photo.
The Apple TV series features big names such as Barry Keoghan, Austin Butler, Callum Turner, and more.
