Matthew Perry Death Inspires ‘Best of Chandler’ Marathon at TBS

Across its 10 seasons, Friends had no shortage of moments where Matthew Perry stole the scene, if not the whole episode, as the endlessly quotable Chandler Bing. In honor of the late actor‘s life and legacy, TBS will be airing a five-day marathon of the character’s best moments, beginning Nov. 1. and running through Nov. 5.

TBS has split the marathon into thematic segments across its run time. From 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1, the Best of Chandler marathon will air with 24 episodes, including “The One Where Chandler Can’t Remember Which Sister” and “The One With Chandler in a Box.”

The marathon continues on Thursday, Nov. 2, with the Best of Chandler and Joey’s Friendship segment, running from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. with 12 episodes. The set includes a few repeats but adds in favorites like “The One Where Monica Sings” and “The One Where Joey Moves Out.”

The five episodes scheduled for Friday, Nov. 3, spotlight romance with the Best of Chandler and Monica’s Relationship marathon. Running between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m., the marathon will start with “The One With Ross’ Wedding, Part 2,” then move into the two-parters “The One With the Proposal” and “The One With Monica and Chandler’s Wedding.”

Saturday, Nov. 4, and Sunday, Nov. 5, will feature the Best of Chandler Encore, which will re-run select episodes from earlier in the week, like “The One With All the Thanksgivings” and “The One With the Blackout.” Nine episodes will run on Saturday, and 13 will run on Sunday. The series is currently streaming in full on Max, which has added a tribute card to the beginning of each season.
