And now, Spotify has released a list of the country’s top artists of 2023.
While Taylor Swift, Drake, The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran and Morgan Wallen were the most-streamed artists in Australia, the most-streamed local artists included the likes of The Wiggles, The Kid LAROI, Vance Joy, Flume and AC/DC.
The most-streamed songs in Australia included Miley Cyrus’ Flowers, and Wallen’s Last Night, while from our local artists, Vance Joy took the top spot with Riptide, Laroi came in second with his hit Stay with Justin Bieber, followed by Dean Lewis‘ Say Goodbye, Laroi’s Love Again and Flume’s Say Nothing (Feat MAY-A).
The most-streamed albums include Midnights by Taylor Swift, Harry’s House by Harry Styles and Starboy by The Weeknd.
The top podcasts in Australia include Casefile True Crime and The Inspired Unemployed.
