Taylor Swift fans ain’t too pleased with her company at the latest Kansas City Chiefs game.
As Perezcious readers know, the Shake It Off singer showed up at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri on Sunday to support her beau Travis Kelce as he faced off against the Los Angeles Chargers. It was an eventful game both on the field and in the private suite Taylor watched from, as she and Brittany Mahomes debuted a new besties handshake after the Chiefs scored a touchdown. But beyond her fellow WAG, fans are calling into question the company she kept in the suite. No, no one has a problem with Patrick Mahomes’ wife… it’s his little brother, Jackson Mahomes. What’s the issue?

It all started back in February. The 23-year-old was dining at Aspens Restaurant and Lounge in Overland Park when, according to a 19-year-old waiter, he was caught trying to make his way into a basement office. When the teen server attempted to block him from doing so, Jackson allegedly got pushy.
Later in the night, the younger Mahomes brother asked to speak with owner Aspen Vaughn in a private setting to clear up the basement incident. And when she did, the restaurateur alleges, Jackson grabbed her by the throat and began “forcibly” kissing her. The 40-year-old told The Star at the time:
“He forcibly kissed me out of nowhere. And I’m telling him, pushing him off, saying ‘What are you doing?’ and then he proceeded to do it two more times. Where the last time I was pushing him off, and I can see on the cameras that somebody was outside the office door, and I was yelling for them to come help because he’s big and massive.”
She added:
“I was in shock. It’s disgusting. Like, you’re a child, and he was trying to say ‘We should be a power couple,’ and I’m like, ‘Clearly you’re out of your mind right now.’”
Disgusting, right?? After a months-long investigation, Jackson was arrested in May and charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery and a fourth count of battery. However, he was released from the Johnson County Detention Center on $100,000 bond, and has been awaiting his hearing since.
Suffice to say, protective T-Swift fans were fuming when they saw the accused sexual batterer in such close proximity to her. X (Twitter) users wrote things like:
“Chiefs security should be ashamed for letting Jackson Mahomes in the same room as Taylor Swift.”
“I’m going to need someone to get her out of that box immediately. Jackson Mahomes is there.”
One fan even speculated the move could have been intentional to give him “good coverage” ahead of his hearing later this week:
“Putting Jackson Mahomes in the box with Taylor so he gets good coverage before his preliminary hearing for his SA case in TWO DAYS is so f***ing sinister.”
