JC Chasez starred in the fourth season of The Mickey Mouse Club, going by his initials due to another cast member being named Josh.
During his time on the show, he befriended Justin Timberlake which would lead him to joining NSYNC in 1995.
He explained how he felt when starting to Disney saying “When I went in, I was always confident in my dancing.
I was like, I can dance, I have no problem doing this stuff, but I was very shy about my singing and I’m still shy about performing anything that I have to memorise or anything like that.”
